"Miss Crumcake's Amazing Divining Rod" is a story about two twins and their adventures in a neighbor's yard. "What is that strange music and what are those bright lights coming from Miss Crumcake's yard at night? The redheaded twins, Jeremiah and Joleen, want to know, but it happens after their bedtime. One night their curiosity overcomes them and they sneak out to Miss Crumcake's. They peek through her azalea bushes and see an amazing sight!"
Gokool is from Marblehead, Mass., and currently lives in Brockton with her husband and two daughters. She has completed courses with the Institute of Children's Literature of Connecticut and volunteered and worked in her local elementary schools as a librarian.
