United India Association to hold 'Valentine's Bash'
Following on the heels of some very successful events in 2011, including a Holi celebration and New Year's Eve party, the United India Association of New England is holding a Desi-style "Valentine's Bash" on Friday, Feb. 10 from 7 p.m. to midnight at Mantra restaurant in Boston.

The event includes a full Indian gourmet meal. Entertainment includes a fashion show by Rare Carats, featuring models such as Miss Teen Massachusetts — World Division 2011-2012 Pavit Arora, a hula hoop dance by Rajuli of Honey Circuit and the spinning of DJ Tej Singh.

"After a huge success with our holi event at Mantra restaurant last year, United India Association of New England is bringing another fun evening to you to celebrate Valentine's Day. Though this is popular with couples, United India Association being a family based organization does welcome parents interested in bringing their children to the event as there will be activities, games and prizes for children also," said United India Association President Neela Gandhi. "So come out this cold winter evening, meet people and share a fun evening with one another.

"We have a great evening planned for you with mouth watering appetizers to start the evening for about an hour followed by a fashion show, hula hoop dance and competition, some great games for couples and children and great raffle prizes to be won," Gandhi added. "Come dressed in your best Red and Black attire and we will have great prizes to be won for best dressed, best dancing couple to just name a few prizes."
