New temple set to open in Mass.
A new Shri Gurusthan Sai Temple will open in Northborough, Mass., on Dec. 27. The opening coincides with Guru Dutta Jayanti day. The temple is named after Gurusthan, which means "place of the guru." This refers to the place where Baba spent most of his time when he first came to Shirdi, and also where, according to Baba, the tomb of his own guru is located by the neem tree. This marks Gurusthan as one of the most important places in Shirdi, according to the temple.

Temple leaders invited all to come with family and friends to participate in the Sai Murti Pranprathistha ceremony on Dec. 17 to officially open the temple. For more information, visit www.shrigurusthan.org or call (774) 27-MYSAI.
