
The Brahma Kumaris Learning Center for Peace will host Dr. Kala Iyengar, director of the Peace Village Learning and Retreat Center in Haines Falls, N.Y., as the special guest for two nights of "Rakshabandan — The Link of Love." The event will be held on Aug. 15 at the ATFS Learning Center in Shrewsbury, Mass., and on Aug. 16 at the Brahma Kumaris Learning Center for Peace in Watertown, Mass.
Iyengar is a board certified pediatrician, spiritual educator, and inspirational speaker and senior raja yogi.
The event is described as a "light and uplifting evening of celebration, music, meditation, and spiritual insight" that will examine true love, "the greatest gift of life and a source of safety and comfort, has no dead ends but only unlimited possibilities to enrich any relationship."
The Brahma Kumaris Learning Center for Peace is part of a worldwide network of meditation centers, headquartered in India, which teaches positive living and personal empowerment through Raja Yoga meditation.
